Description

South Indian Classic Mango Wood Home Mandir with Brass Inlay Work – Handmade Solid Wood Temple

Create a serene and well-organised worship space with this South Indian Classic Mango Wood Home Mandir with Brass Inlay Work. Handmade in India by experienced artisans, this freestanding temple combines traditional floral carving, sacred Hindu symbolism, practical storage and decorative brass detailing. Its balanced proportions and warm wood colour make it ideal for homes and commercial interiors throughout the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries.

Solid Mango Wood Craftsmanship

The mandir is constructed from solid mango wood, a strong Indian hardwood valued for its durability, structural stability and distinctive natural grain. Unlike MDF or engineered boards, genuine solid wood provides reliable support for God idols, brass lamps, prayer books and everyday pooja accessories.

Every section is shaped, carved, assembled and polished by hand. The smooth natural wood polish enhances the warm honey-brown tones and visible grain patterns. Natural variations in colour and texture give each handmade temple its own authentic character.

Open Worship Area and Sacred Panel

The upper section provides a spacious open area for displaying Hindu God idols, framed deity pictures, brass diyas, incense holders, flowers, prayer bells and pooja thalis. Its hand-carved floral arch and traditional border detailing create a graceful South Indian temple-inspired appearance.

A contrasting white cutwork panel features sacred Om symbols, a radiating lotus-style pattern and diya motifs, creating an attractive spiritual backdrop for the idols. Decorative wooden railings help define the worship platform while keeping it open and accessible during daily pooja and aarti.

Brass-Decorated Storage

Below the prayer platform are two drawers decorated with embossed brass panels, studs and traditional handles. These drawers are suitable for incense sticks, cotton wicks, camphor, kumkum, prayer beads and other frequently used accessories.

The lower double-door storage cabinet features carved wooden panels with elaborate brass detailing. Inside are two spacious shelves for organising religious books, scriptures, pooja vessels, diya oil, altar cloths and festival decorations.
